Jono works closely with artists to bring their creative vision to life, drawing out the heart and soul of their music with authenticity, emotion and a sound that is unmistakably their own. A path that has led many of the artists he has worked with to sign international label deals and tour across the US, UK, Europe and beyond.

A producer with a rare instinct for unlocking and elevating a song, Jono has an uncanny ability to dig deep into the heart of a piece and uncover what lies beneath the surface, guiding it toward its most honest and heartfelt form.

At the centre of his approach is a commitment to truly listening to the song and following it to its natural creative destination. Rather than chasing trends or replicating existing sounds, Jono focuses on uncovering what each track needs and helping artists express their own unique voice with honesty, character and human feel.

A producer, writer, engineer, multi-instrumentalist and artist with over 25 years’ experience, Jono brings a rare versatility and expansive musical range to his work. He has worked across Pop, Hip Hop, R&B, Neo-Soul, Indie, Electronic, all sub-genres of EDM, Rock, Neoclassical, Folk and Acoustic, contributing to multiple Top 10 ARIA chart successes (including a #1) alongside millions of streams worldwide. His work has also charted in the Euro Indie Music Chart (#1), World Indie Music Chart (#1) and Beatport Top 100.

Alongside his work as a producer and collaborator, Jono has also maintained a long-running career as an artist in his own right. Over the past 25 years he has released more than 75 records on global labels as an electronic music artist, as well as one half of the indie band Friends Of Mine.

He also writes and releases music under his Dream-Pop / R&B project Junoe, bringing an artist’s perspective to his work in the studio and a deep understanding of the creative process from both sides of the glass.

Across his work with other artists and as an artist himself, Jono’s music has been released on globally renowned labels including Sony BMG, Universal Music, EMI, Ministry of Sound, Spinnin’ Records, Global Underground, Anjunabeats, Armada Music and CR2, among many others. He has remixed and worked with artists such as Sia, Tiësto, Groove Armada, UNKLE, Howard Jones, Nadia Ali, Morgan Page, Cedric Gervais and Delphic, with support from David Guetta, Axwell, Pete Tong and Paul van Dyk.

Jono is also an Australian Independent Music Awards Producer of the Year and an Ableton Live Certified Trainer.

In demand as a producer, he works with internationally acclaimed artists including Starley (‘Call On Me’) and Grammy-winning Eric J (Flume, Dua Lipa, Sabrina Carpenter, FKA Twigs, Chet Faker, Tove Lo, Flight Facilities).

Jono works from his Alexandria (Sydney) studio and remotely with artists interstate and worldwide. Sessions are run in focused two-hour blocks, creating an environment that encourages creative flow, decisive momentum and meaningful progress.

Whether starting from scratch, developing an idea, elevating an existing production or delivering high-end vocal production, the goal remains the same: to honour the artist’s vision while drawing out the very best in every song.

Alongside his production work, Jono also offers mixing, mastering and production mentoring for artists looking to deepen their craft.
